This term is used to reference objects that a person acquires for the purpose of making memories. That is, an item that is associated with a certain time, experience or event. Prices of the items will vary considerably and may be relative to the retailer and the product itself. These might serve as memorabilia. These are purchased for the purpose of treasuring memories. Typically they are given value based on the connection they have to a certain experience, whether it be related to sporting, historical, cultural or entertainment events. Usually, state souvenirs are kept for some sentiment or to elicit memories. They may also be given for these same reasons to family or friends. The products will differ from place to place, and are generally relative to the region where they are sold. There are online retailers and physical storefronts with these products.
